JOB OVERVIEW
Under the general direction of the Manager, the Client Owned Equipment Specialist is responsible for coordinating client property issues and receipts. Ensures continual accountability of government property IAW FAR, and DFAR.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains records and control of all Company Owned and Furnished Equipment (GFE) on the BOSS Contract IAW applicable regulations, supplements by agency unique regulations, company procedures, or relations.
- Assist with the investigation and report all cases of loss, damage, or destruction of company-owned property.
- Coordinates to ensure a 100% accountability of Customer Owned Equipment are maintained IAW applicable regulations.
- Ensures proper receipt, documentation, processing, and delivery of all property IAW as described in Property Plan and prescribed in Acquisition Regulations, Part 45.
- Receive, put into the record, and issue all GFE/CFE, Equipment and UFP, maintain property records in the appropriate database and provide an audit trail.
- Verifies inventory by comparing physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies and/or adjusts errors.
- Prepares and reviews appropriate adjustment documentation for lost, damaged, or destroyed materials; including appropriate causative research is provided for review of IAW established timelines.
- Assists management in effectively managing all GFE/CFE to help develop and coordinate the implementation of Property policies and procedures.
- Perform duties involving LTDD process, requesting, receiving, issuing, turn-in, accountability, inventory, storage, and preservation of all Company Furnished Property and Materials.
- Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Recommends disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
- Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational/operational objectives.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must be familiar and able to train with the appropriate FAR, DFARs, Navy Regulations, and asset management systems.
- Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
- Comfort multitasking and handling multiple requests from different individuals and departments.
- Must speak, read, and understand the English language.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING
- Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA) is highly desired or equivalent.
EDUCATION:
- Must have at least a high school diploma, technical or vocational course graduate is required.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other related courses based on a 2- year or 4-year course of study from an accredited College or University is highly desired.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least two (2) years of company property administration experience or in a similar role.
- Experience with Automated Property Management Systems.
Basic terms of the job offer.
- Assignment Duration: 12 months. Renewal subject to performance and project status.
- Base Monthly Salary: 48 hours per week minimum work requirement: $642 (based on 48 hr. work week requirement)
- Working schedule: 48 hours per week (8 hours per day/6 days a week)
- Payroll period: Monthly. Amount give take home.
- Overtime: Work more than 8 hours per day or work performed on a rest day and/or holiday,
will be paid as overtime at the base salary rate.
- Accommodations: Housing, transportation, meals in-country, and laundry facilities are provided
- Sick Leave: Employee will accrue 2.67 hours of sick leave for each full month of service, beginning with the completion of the first full month of Foreign Service employment.
- Annual leave Up to 21 days paid at the end of each 12-month contract.
- Travel will be provided by the employer to the employee’s home country.
