DESCRIPTION OF JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- It is expected that the Assistant Facility Engineer, as management personnel, will coordinate as needed with other Contractor management/employee personnel for all Annexes, and Government personnel for all Annexes, to solve problems and meet PWS specification and performance standards for day-to-day operations in all PWS areas such as, but not limited to, fire protection and prevention, logistics, facility services to include equipment maintenance, grounds maintenance and landscaping, and all relevant contract and support issues pertaining to POL management and operations.
- Responsible for the facilities inspection, reporting, maintenance, and services of work facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
- Maximo experience desired to track all work orders, to make changes on maintenance plans, to upload all monthly tablet synchronizations.
- Coordinate and assist maintenance plan to make weekly and monthly updates or changes with maintenance superintendent.
- Achieving and maintaining maintenance division records as required.
- Performs other work-related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet organizational / operational objectives.
BASIC JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed technical documentation, regulations, detailed written orders, training instructions and materials, conducting, and participating in POL operations and exercises, and be able to compose reports which convey complete information.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines and changing priorities.
- Ability to work quickly and in a potentially high-stress environment.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills which enable effective liaison with clients, other departments within the organization, subcontractors, and clients, and report directly to POL Superintendent.
- Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Particular attention to detail, and good project management skills.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with the following license codes (B, B1, B2, C, or D) and be able to operate assigned vehicles.
EDUCATION:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in civil, Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or other related engineering and scientific fields, based on a four-year course of study from an accredited university or college, with U.S. equivalence for non-U.S. Citizen. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience that would likely produce the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in coordinating and administering bulk fuel management operating and managerial operations, spill prevention and countermeasures planning, and creating short- and long-range facility plans for maintenance and repair of fuel systems and support facilities. Familiar with submittal of DD Form 1391s for MILCON projects and the SRM/E program.
- Knowledge of facilities (pipeline, tank, and valve) is highly desired or equivalent systems such as water, fire facility systems.
Basic terms of the job offer.
- Assignment Duration: 12 months. Renewal subject to performance and project status.
- Base Monthly Salary: 48 hours per week minimum work requirement: $1470 (based on 48 hr. work week requirement)
- Working schedule: 48 hours per week (8 hours per day/6 days a week)
- Payroll period: Monthly. Amount give take home.
- Overtime: Work more than 8 hours per day or work performed on a rest day and/or holiday,
will be paid as overtime at the base salary rate.
- Accommodations: Housing, transportation, meals in-country, and laundry facilities are provided
- Sick Leave: Employee will accrue 2.67 hours of sick leave for each full month of service, beginning with the completion of the first full month of Foreign Service employment.
- Annual leave Up to 21 days paid at the end of each 12-month contract.
- Travel will be provided by the employer to the employee’s home country.
- Project Holidays: 10 paid holidays. New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, President’s Day, Philippine Independence Day, USA Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

- Your Passport must be valid for at least 12 months, with at least 6 total blank visa pages remaining.
- Your driver’s license must be valid for at least 6 months (unless processing for a CDL-required position, which will require 12 months remaining).
