The incumbent provides manual labor services and assists the skilled tradesmen for the completion of tasks mainly in painting & sandblasting and other works such as; ship line handling, carpentry, mechanical, rigging, structural/piping repairs, electrical, supply, dry-docking and undocking of boat/craft and shipboard cleaning and preservation work.

Hydro-blaster technician (mechanic) Responsible for the safe and proper operation, preventive and corrective maintenance of the Ultra High-Pressure Hydro blasting equipment used in preservation, maintenance, and repair services requirement of Military Sealift Command (MSC) vessels and prepositioned ships, that are either leased to the US Government or owned by the United States Government
