Legal Officer- 4 positions (Job Grade, AFC 7)
This is the entry level for degree holders with a Postgraduate Diploma in Law into this cadre. An officer at this level works under the guidance of the Manager Legal Services and Senior Legal Officer. The officer is responsible for providing legal services, advice, and support to the Corporation; preparing and reviewing legal documents; representing the Corporation in assigned legal proceedings; supporting litigation, conveyancing, contractual, and loan-related legal matters; and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to protect the Corporation’s legal interests.
Legal Assistant- 3 positions (Job Grade, AFC 6)
Legal Assistant is the entry level for degree holders without postgraduate diploma in law or diploma holders into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of the Legal Officer / Senior. This officer may be deployed to the following functional unit, Litigation, Conveyancing and security documentation, Contract and Lease Management.
Corporation Secretary / Chief Legal Officer [ Job Grade, AFC 13]
Corporation Secretary/Chief Legal Officer provides strategic legal leadership and governance oversight, ensuring full compliance with constitutional provisions, government regulations, and Mwongozo principles while safeguarding the legal interests of the organization.
